Each installment of his critically acclaimed audiovisual series has racked up hundreds of thousands views on YouTube. His video Pay Day 71, was lauded for calling out the gender wage gap while becoming a mainstay in Atlanta’s strip club circuit, known for breaking artists such as Future and Migos.
Shah continues to show his ability to create club tracks without compromising bars with his new single, Just Text. The track is in rotation at influential Atlanta institutions such as Magic City, which attests to its catchy flow. The songs lyrics forgo the trap clichés found in other strip club anthems, and takes the listener on a journey through Shah’s triumphs and struggles. The song touches on Shah being targeted by the US Department of Homeland Security and the Donald Trump administration and describes how this led the Toronto native to Atlanta.
Since arriving in Atlanta, not only has Shah been embraced by influences like Magic City and the Coalition DJs, but he’s also began collaborating with some of the best young artists the rap world has to offer.
