Here we go again, another person trying to get a portion of the Beyhive. A man named Dwayne Walker who claims to have designed the Roc-A-Fella logo is reportedly filing a lawsuit against Beyoncé for using the Roc-A-Fella logo in her “Drunk in Love” video without his permission. Walker is demanding he receives his share of the profits from the song.
There’s a little coincidence to this story. Dwayne Walker also filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z in 2012, but back in September, a federal judge dismissed the $7 million lawsuit against Jay-Z and his former label partners that accused them of breach of contract and copyright infringement over the logo for Roc-A-Fella Records. Walker claimed ownership of the logo, but couldn’t provide proof of ownership, so Walker took the “L” on that case.
